    Default Stolen Bike Recovered

Unfortunately it was just a Polini but still. I found out but a few weeks ago my friend's son's bike was stolen from a home in Rocklin. The dumbass posted it on Craigslist. The Rocklin Detective was going too slow for my friends so they called about the bike and the guy gave him their name and address. They got to the Shithole neighborhood in North Highlands and called SacPD telling him they were about to kill someone. They showed up real quick, were given the story, entered the home, nailed the scumbag and id'ed the bike.
Made my month to hear that.

Yes they certainly did. Having worked Loss Prevention in that neighborhood a code 3 is your only way of having a cop show up on the calendar day. Turns out all this tweak had to do was say " I bought it from someone else " to avoid getting charged.
Well shit. If that's all it takes I'll go on a thievery rampage.... bullshit.

You're lucky they didn't charge you with making a false report. (telling them you're about to kill someone without actually meaning it.) Rancho PD would have.

Me? Why would they charge ME? I wasn't even in the same zip code.
Now if you skimmed and assumed it was me then I get that. ;)

Now let's move on to the next part:
"Sir, I've just read your thoughts and determined you didn't actually MEAN to kill this man. Shame on you. Have some charges and bowl of feces for your trespass. "
Intent exists only in the mind.
In that instance police show up to intervene and calm the situation down while apprehending the suspect. There's no crime to charge there.

He's not gona get prosecuted...I he does he'll be put on probation and not watched at all....if you think felons on probation should be watched, tell that to the county board of supervisors.
We the people, in order to form a more perfect union, do hereby establish this constitution of the united states....to be totally ignored by the rivaling political parties that don't know their ass from a hole in the ground about what's good for the people.
