  1. I'm at work right now, but when i get home i'll PM what my O.M. says. Every bike i've every owned though I've put Premium in it. Had an '00 R6 that required Premium and haven't ever really thought about it since. Figured slightly better Octane couldn't hurt, i know there is a lot of debate about it. Considering you own a '00 i would say your Carb's will play a major role in how the bike reacts to fuel, depending on how they're setup, and if they've been synchronized recently, and any jetting you may have done.

Hey Jonathan. I see you've got a '04 R1. What type of fuel does your owner's manual recommend you to put, regular or premium? Do you follow the recommendation?

Reason I ask is on my '00 manual, it says to put premium (91). I've tried 87 before and now I'm back to running a 91 in it. To me, it seems 87 is more ideal for the bike. Just curious if I should stick to 91.

    Thanks.
